DOORS License time-out

Hello,

how is the time handling of DOORS licenses?

- when does DOORS request a license?

- how long does a licese last, after it is granted?

- where can I find infos about this topic?

Hi,

DOORS initially checks out license when you launch it.

While it is running, it sends heartbeats to the license server periodically. If the heartbeat fails, then it tries to reconnect to the license server.

So, when DOORS has no problem connecting to license server, it will not be timed out until you exit DOORS because of the feature.

I am not sure where exactly you can find this information.
